Measuring 6 x 12 inches, footstones are placed at the foot of the grave and are inscribed with a single name. Cornerstones measure 6 x 6 inches and usually come in light grey granite. They are used to mark the outside edges of the cemetery lot. Either the family initial or the family name is used.
